Fashion Newbies Take Center Stage

I have been reading alot about the staying power of fashion designers given our horrible economy and how new designers such as Jason Wu (amazing btw and love his stuff) and actually growing their business in this type of economic environment. I recently read in WWD how Wu was actually riding the wave of his fame that the Michelle Obama gave him for wearing that almost princess like gown to the inaguration ball. Recently bought a 9,000 sq studio in downtown NY. Seeing this types of newcomers actually making it and competing with the big dogs of Donna Karan and Oscar, gives us, or the budding fashion generation after them !!

Changing up Your Style

The above designs look so much fun and shows the many styles of how muslim women wear their hijab. I love how different and creative they are. I think it is imperative that muslim women update their style of wearing hijab , at least every 5- years. The hijabs that we wear are reflections of our individual styles and express who we are. So ladies lets take advantage of all of these new styles and try them out for size, you never know, they might stick .

Eastern Vogue

I saw these beautiful abaya's and loved how innovative they were with their designs , espacially the one the far left , those bell sleeves are realy high fashion and I love how they incorporated that sense of high fashion into the traditional abaya, props to them . Welcome everyone to the first blog of Beautiful Hijabi's I just started this blog so I have to upload so more pics of the fashions that are either geared toward muslim women or can be turned into modest fashionable attire. The pic to my left was a display of some fashionable cloths that were geared toward muslim women , I think it was a display in London, but whereever it was , it is mighty cute .
